This limited edition Katana was introduced at the 2023 Blade Show. Mcusta’s Katana series folding knife is inspired by the traditional Japanese Samurai sword. It features a black 3-layer laminated (San Mai) VG-10 Tanto blade and a forged, machined, aluminum handle, finished with a special powder coat. These knives are a wonderful synthesis of traditional Japanese blades, contemporary design, modern materials and modern manufacturing methods.
Made in Seki, Japan, Mcusta combines modern technology with traditional Japanese craftsmanship to produce hand finished custom quality production knives. This knife measures 4.25" long closed and features a VG-10 Core San Mai blade with Yellow/black finished Aluminum handle.
