La Chicharra today is a small company where about twenty people work, mostly young people from municipalities in the suburbs of Oaxaca City, who have learned the ceramic trade along with transversal skills such as discipline, punctuality, attention to detail and teamwork. The possibility of working with people who are not experts in the trade but are willing to learn it, has generated many possibilities to experiment, integrate and grow together, which ultimately builds strong ties within the work team.
