Every DAR Proyectos jewel puzzle, game, or piece of home decor invites you to enter a world of Andean magic. And it’s an invitation you won’t get just anywhere. Our pieces are made with gemstones sourced directly from the mineral-rich Andes of Peru and crafted by artisans who speak their special language. There’s a certain kind of magic that comes with being neighbors with the people who handcraft our gemstone items. We live and work alongside our fellow Andean craftsmen in the Peruvian Andes, building a close connection that can be felt in every piece. The day before the future DAR founders met, a 4-meter-high wave broke the large pier in Pacasmayo in two, something that hadn't happened in ten years. Mauricio managed to squeeze in an epic surf session before catching a flight to the jungle, which made for a late arrival to meet Jenny. Thankfully, they had just enough time to hit it off. And then create a home together. And throughout it all, we are mindful of how the more joyful moments in our home involve less screentime and more human connection. We honour home as a time to ground. It’s where we listen, play, and interact. Our vibrant semi-precious stones are infused with Andean culture, holding value in more ways than one. The unmatched array of vibrant tones and colors makes it easy to awaken a sense of play.
