Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection, Ginori 1735 reinterprets the table in a modern vein with uniquely designed objects that are veritable artistic installations. The collection represents an unconventional vision of the art of the table, a dialogue between classical and modern, inspired by Luke Edward Hall’s love of Greco-Roman mythology, and particularly Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, and his wife Salacia.

    Luke Edward Hall – the artist with whom Ginori 1735 worked to create the Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection – expresses a love of Greco-Roman mythology and, in particular, Neptune. The god of the sea is evoked in the design of this exquisite candle holder; it takes the form of three shells standing in elegant formation, articulating an intriguing dialogue between classical art and contemporary table setting.
